I get a sense of surrealism here. Maybe it's the over-done hues. A more natural approach would have worked better for me. 5

Wonderful detail, colour, focus. I like the balance too, of the foreground horizontal and the vertical subject. Highly competent, though a bit dull perhaps - lacking anything extraordinary. Woould make a successful stock shot I'd think - even room for some text :-)

Love the colors and the DOF but wish your subject was a bit larger in the frame and wish you had used a portrait format.

wonderful "impressionistic" background sets off the flower wonderfully. nice position in the frame. the one foreground greenery that is on the flower is ever-so-slightly distracting but that's what happens in the field. nicely done
