"How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days?
Oh twenty-four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days
A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way
Sittin, lookin at the clock, time moves so slow
I've been watchin for the hands to move
Until I just can't look no more
How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seems to slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, Baby when I feel this way.
To sing a song for you, I recall you used to say
"Oh baby this one's for we two", Which in the end is you anyway
How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way.
There was a time that I stood tall, In the eyes of other men
But by my own choice I left you woman, And now I can't get back again
How come twenty-four hours, sometimes slip into days?
A minute seems like a lifetime, Baby when I feel this way
A minute seems like a lifetime
When I feel this way...I feel this way"

I went to Frankfurt for my mocha on Sunday. Usually I go to Wiesbaden for my mocha but really, Frankfurt isn't all that far and the train makes it quite convenient. I went with the idea of shooting for this particular song in mind. This gentleman was sitting outside of what in the US would be sort of a diner/delicatessen. He was talking to everyone who was walking by, whether they would listen or not. I passed by, then came back, and in my best German asked if I could take his picture, to which he responded, in English, "What?" I really need to work on my German. He had the most expressive face when he talked (we chatted for quite awhile) but every time I raised the camera he would pose. This was the pose I liked best for the challenge.
Lots of processing (at least compared to what I normally do.) Did some tweaks in RAW (I've been watching instructional videos on the web!), converted to B&W using the CS3 tool. Cloned out a small bit of light behind him and a small bit of reflection in the upper right. Dodged his eyes a bit, burned his face around his eyes, burned the arms of his sweater, dodged his hat. Oh and cropped. Duotoned. Added a bit of noise to compliment that which was already there. Unsharp mask. And the resized for web.

An ordinary capture, with some technicals that are distracting - such as the noisy building in the background. Could have popped more if it were darker, and a bit sharper. Some over exposure on the teacup distracts me somewhat. Fits the challenge theme in mediocre fashion, but doesn't say "Led Zepplin" to me. I'd give this a 5.
