 "All My Love"

Should I fall out of love, my fire in the light
To chase a feather in the wind
Within the glow that weaves a cloak of delight
There moves a thread that has no end.

For many hours and days that pass ever soon
the tides have caused the flame to dim
At last the arm is straight, the hand to the loom
Is this to end or just begin?

All of my love, all of my love, All of my love to you.

The cup is raised, the toast is made yet again
One voice is clear above the din
Proud Aryan one word, my will to sustain
For me, the cloth once more to spin


Yours is the cloth, mine is the hand that sews time
his is the force that lies within
Ours is the fire, all the warmth we can find
He is a feather in the wind



I have always wanted to redo my shot with the wrong book. What a better way to do it than this. Yes I know it has been done. Check here:

I just wish I had more time and a red filter that I bought on eBay for this. It did not arrive in time so I had to take a red Staples folder that was slightly transparent and cut it out to fit in one of my UV filters. It just wasn't transparent enough to please me 100%.

My edits:
Original File: IMG_3907
Shot in RAW
In Lightroom I changed the white balance to Tungsten
then in Photoshop:

Cloned some spots on the UV filter and one spot on the book
took all saturation down to 0 except red
selected the red in the filter and inversed selection and bumped the red saturation up a little
cropped
resized
sharpen
save for web
upload

This is a very cool shot of this type, and works very well with the printed lyrics to the song in the background.
