Beautiful countryside. Sepia works great.

the very top left part has an annoying branch sticking out...should have cropped tighter or cloned it out... still nice shot. 6

The tiny piece of road makes the difference in tis shot.

O.K., fits well, but...not a lot of interest. Good quality image of hiker on a hill overlooking the highway. Just missing the drama of the song. Don't see the "aching in my heart", I guess.

It's a nice scene, and I like the little glimpse of road. Fits the theme/title you selected pretty well. Not sure about the sepia. B&W may have been stronger. The image is very contrasty and has some strong, glaring highlights (reflections off the branches). Circular polarizer? Might have helped control some of the glare/reflections...

Composition, as mentioned above with the piece of road showing, is nice, however, attention to details would have lost the branches creeping in on the upper left and those peeking over the top of the distant hills.

All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.

The lighting seems a little harsh. I'm not sure if that's what is causing it but there doesn't seem to be much depth to the photo. The foreground colors kind of blend into the background colors.
