Near my family home, actually. Probably a left-over from the '87 hurricane. Arundel was hit badly at that time and lost a fair few trees. |

Spooky good... love the subject, light and detail... there's a story, or two with that tree - 10 |

I really like how the ground looks as if it could move (or is moving). Great back lighting. |

The shot is very nicely done as the subject takes up most of the space. The shadows create interst, and the sun behind the tree adds nice lighting. |

This photograph has a wide range of values. The branches lead the eye all throughout the photograph. |

Love the ground, the roots to this tree must be large, like tree is never going to fall over, tilted works well here. |

This is a nice photo, there is nothing wrong with it to me. But maybe either croping that cloud out or waiting for it to pass could(of) help(ed). |

A veteran of weather's wars. You chose a good subject for this challenge. 8 |

Pushing the mid-tones higher would have increased the contrast between the tree and the rest of the image to make it more dramatic. Nice angle, composition wise - perhaps changing the aspect ratio a bit by taking away some of the image both at the top and the bottom would have made the tree more prominent within the frame |

This is just wonderful, and appealing to my "dark" side. You composed this perfectly, and the contrasts are dead-on. |
