 One of the benefits of having a Husband that does old home/building restorations for a living are the beautiful things he brings home on occasion...found, discarded objects. The spoon is silver and very, very old, found buried in the ground, same goes for the shard of dolly. I hadn't planed on doing a thing for this challenge but when he walked in the other day with this fabulous spoon I reconsidered...how great is that patina! Both artifacts were found at the same house, a grand home built in 1825.

Wonderful, my fave for the challenge, I love the colours, the background is so cool, the textures and colours on the spoon are brilliant, goes very well with the background nice contrasting colours, the addition of the broken porcelain doll was an excellent final touch. It all oddly works <3

Good detail on the green moldy stuff. This spoon looks like an antique. I like the bg too, makes it all feel antiquated, like old wall paper.

I don't get it but I really like the color and texture of the tarnish particularly in contrast to the background.
