Let me echo Roz by saying I immediately knew this had to be yours.
And as an aside... I'm curious to know from where you take these street shots - from a house? An office? The roof? Are you on a light pole? On top of a car? Wherever it is, there seem to be pedestrians that you can turn into wildly interesting images. Nobody walks the streets here - too far, too hot, too dangerous.
The photo - as usual, underrated. As always, totally excellent. Beautifully seen and composed. Very funny with the Parking on the ground and the walkie sign right next to it. Great use of colors, too. |

hey nick ..
i saw this in voting and i immediately thought of you .. firstly because of the photograph .. it just screams NIXTER ...
and of course the title ... so you ..
its an excellent slice of urban life .. definitely satisfies the challenge & very arty . which of course is why it didnt do as well as it should have .. those voters seem to shy away from anything that's creative and different .. well a lot of the time anyway .. 5.5 is the wrong score for this .. should'v been a lot more .. :):) |

Just to dark where it counts, and the person just seems "there" maybe a cool looking model or somebody doing something out of the ordinary. |

Nice shadows created with a good angle and tilt to the pic. good color between the umvbrella and road and sign. |

I'm intrigued by this. The harsh shadows, the subjects only half visible, where they're going to (or coming from). The angle, of course, makes this work. An eight for you. |

Nice effort. It just lacks interest. |

I like how you're looking down on the subject instead of standing right infrount of it |

Nice angle, but the lighting looks harsh, perhaps a different time of day would have been better. |

I like this, but I feel it would be slightly better if there wasn't half a person at the top. |
