in just-
ee cummings

in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman
whistles far and wee

and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it's spring

when the world is puddle-wonderful

the queer
old balloonman whistles
far and wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing
from hop-scotch and jump-rope and

it's spring
and the goat-footed
balloonman whistles
far
and
wee

Wow. Reminding me that we are color, and color is not just in us, but is us, not just surrounds us, but makes us what we are. Such a delight, so wonderfully subtle and sound.

Just outstanding. Love so much the puddly feel of the image. Perfect poem to go with it!!!! I could get lost in all of the cool greens and blues.

True painting/illustration, reminds me of the American version of the Water Babies. Colour wonderful, AND this is the poem that came to mind when I saw the challenge.

Wow, you even captured ee cummings in stop-point bokeh. How very, very nice.

Wonderful image, capturing the child with his foot up I just KNOW that he is about to merrily stomp in a big mud-luscious puddle! The overlay is so perfect, reminiscent of leaves with sunlight filtering through. Just beautiful!

You offer such consistent quality.
That poem puts me back into a one-person wooden desk with the scratched initials of children I never met.
