poor child is odd looking with his ill advised retro doo (parents you have got to throw those year books away!) The camera distortion really does nothing for me in this although my thoughts of the image without the distortion are very good. |

Great action pic. I'm not familiar with the mag, but I think it could work. |

This shot looks like it would be so money if you could get the building as the sole background - but it also looks like you'd get killed doing that angle as well :-). Nice capture. |

I love the viewpoint - it really gives a great feeling of the sport and provides a fascinating angle on that beautiful building behind. Let down by the unattractive dark scaffolding to the right for me but a great action shot. |

This doesn't look real to me, too much effect. The timing, shot etc was great, just the "fish-eye" effect killed it. :-|

I'm not sure why the skater looks warped? |

thanks you. It's about time someone submitted a good example of this type of shot. I used to film skateboarding videos and I get frustrated by the examples I have seen of extreme sport photos. You have correctly achieved the angle (did you use a wide angle or fish eye?) that gives a sense of height to the obstacles, power to the scene, and grandeur to the athlete. Helps that you also have a great background. 10 from me. Hope this ribbons. |
