Slightly-Rotated Crop, Black/White Conversion, Adjustment Layer-Levels, Elliptical Lasso, Guassian Blur, Master Opacity Changes, Blending Changes (Pin Light, Multiple, Screen,) Plastic Wrap Filter, Magic Wand, Quick Select Tool

This is a macro of a White Lady Banks Rose. This is my latest attempt to create art from reality to result in the same sort of effect as the old "Is it live or is it Memorex?" ads. Only, in this case,...Is it Monet? Or is it Stan? :)

P.S.....I hope the French in my title says something like "This is an homage to Monet and (Ansel) Adams."

I like the contrast in this and the shadows on the background but the blur looks a little bit unatural, especialy in the lower left.

It's a bit on the small side - for these side challenges, feel free to use 700 pixels on the long side. This looks to be a crop from your color version that precedes it in your portfolio. I think I prefer the color in this instance, and the composition of that shot. This one looks kind of abbreviated - but that may be because I looked at the other shot, not sure.

interesting image, a bit too much graininess for my liking, but I do like the gentleness of the flower petals.

This is very lovely - the composition is great, as well as the processing. I would like to see it a bit brighter. It's almost like I'm straining my eyes to see it - a tad of levels, perhaps.

Oh - and the French - yes, what hajeka said - a with the accent on it.

This is nice. Too bad it is so small, but I like the effects. Looks probably very good on full screen size. Not sure about the French. Shouldn't it be: Hommage à ... (but please don't take my word for that)
