 Spotted this raccoon on University of Minnesota campus in the middle of Minneapolis. Raccoons are known for being rather oblivious to humans, but still, watching him going about his business in broad daylight amidst hundreds of students was rather unusual.

He-he. This is a fun shot. Around here, if we saw a raccoon in broad daylight we'd be concerned about rabies!

Obviously, this fella seems ok - just being an adventurous scavenger. :-)

cute shot, maybe a bit tighter crop might help put more of the focus on the raccon.

Seems snap-shotish to me. I've also never seen a yellow raccoon in the wild, not that there isn't one, but the colors seem off to me. Nice idea, though.

That is one cold looking Racoon :- )

I wonder whether a slightly tighter crop might have made this shot a little stronger ? The post on the left doesn't really seem to contribute to the overall image ?
