I agree about the poppy on the left. It draws your eye away from the big, open one. I really love the focus and detail of it, though.. and I do like it off centered with the background so scraggly and blurred. I almost bought something like this at the poppy festival (a print somewhat like this!)

| Depth of field on the Poppy is very good. I like the way the sunlight illuminates the petals of the flower. Very nice. |

| Great lighting on the poppy. I think that there is too much background and pulls your eyes away from the focus. |

| I'd have cropped flower on the left, it being only partially in the frame is very distracting to me. |

| a tighter crop to focus on the main subject would have improved your photo - nice soft light bring the colours out well |

| Nice shot, good choice of DOF. Good composition as well, though I would think it would be stronger if the fragment of the flower on the left weren't there. |

| These poppies have great colour. The partial flower on the left is distracting though. Cropping it out would give the image far more impact. |

| Pretty light on the large flower. Composition could focus more on the one bloom. |
