Simply holding the fern down would have improved this shot. A little overexposed, but good color. |

The left flower is well placed according to the rule of thirds but basically this is just an OK flower image. Suggestions for improvement: One, for best detail without overexposed areas as found in this image take flower pictures in shade or under overcast skies. The soft focus firn in front of the left flower distracts from the image. A touch blacker blacks would might make the flower stand out a bit more, but be careful not to lose detail in the image. |

I think this would have been better without the fern in front of the second flower. |

I like your picture. If if were in better focus and the fern leaf wasn't in front of one of the orange flowers I think it would be even better. |

a much tighter crop on the main subject would improve the pic I think, the leaf is only a distraction |
