I had always wanted to do a shot that isolated a color and had the rest of thne shot be in black and white. I wasn't quite sure if this was legal under the current basic rules. After much thought of the rules, especially the line "as long as it is applied to the whole image." I found that hue and saturation does just this. I was able to isolate the triangles because they were originally green and they were completely different from the back ground (meaning it contained no green at all). I unsaturated every color but green which made everything black and white but the triangles. After that, I simply changed the hue of green to orange. I then did auto-levels and re-sized for the web.
