Yeah, I think I was just being stupid while editing. I love how the smoke turned out in the photo, so I really didn't want to crop out any of the smoke, whatsoever. Like I said, I was being stupid and stubborn. |

If there was a way to compose this shot without the power lines, it would have made this a better picture. Like the B&W for these smokestack shots. |

Needs straightening and a bit of work on the tonal range. But otherwise the composition is nice. |

Kind of ironic to me to see the pollution just billowing out and yet an American flag proudly being displayed alongside... (hey, I just read the title - who says I'm a little slow?) |

I think you should have straightened the image to get rid of the tilt.. that's the first thing I noticed instead of the actual image.. The upper half is interesting.. the combination of the smoke and the wires are very appropriate for the challenge.. The lower half is just in the middle of being a silhouette and then not..not sure it looks that great.. I do like how the flag is instatntly recognisable |

Nice shot. The angle seems a little askew though. Maybe crop it bit more. |

I like how the smoke is gathering together at the top of the picture, I also like how there is an american flag in this shot as well, nice capture. |

Very nice composition. Too bad you couldn't do anything with the power lines. Good b&w conversion. |

too many people are taking pictures of smokestacks. i know you were trying to clearly see the flag in the shot to matcht he title, but i think it would have been nicer to see more of the factory. |

A great idea, I like the power of the B&W but the power lines are little distracting unfortunatley. |

The B/W works well but the image is let down with those wires going across it. |

Good industrial feel and the consequences thereof. Leaning left, would have straightened up the verticals |
