Once again originality takes a back seat on this site. The masses are so used to see pretty babies that are perfectly lit with no noise and heavane forbid any shadows. Your photo is highly original and sculptural in nature. It is a photo about form and yes, it has tons of ambience and who cares if it is eerie. Good art provokes us and makes us think. I am stunned to see that this work did not place higher. I would have had it slated in the top 3 at least. Congratulations once again on an excellent and highly original photo. |

This feels a bit macabre to me. I like high contrast images, but the subject matter of a baby somewhat jarrs my expectations. There seems, also, to be a very green/blue hued object next to the baby. 5 |

Hello I like the over all comp.. seems to be very dark in feeling. perhaps because it is underexposed. Which bring me to feel gloom. Just kinda erie tho. IMO....Oh, I'm sure you saw the noise and i'm seeing color in there as well. Almost looks like a b&w...Good luck |

Shame on you, making poor owen sleep on the floor. Although the contrasts within the picture are strong, there is an overall 'sameness' about it which is disconcerting. I would like to have seen the baby highlighted still more, or the background slightly blurred |

Wow, that photo makes me think of a million different things at once. Bold use of shadow. |

I do not like all the shadows on Owen. I would like to see at least a bit more of his face. |

I like the idea, but I wish I could see a bit more of his face. I also find the green and blue blanket (?) in the lower right somewhat distracting. |

A little more light, maybe a reflector on the baby's face would improve this, just my opinion of course. |

Wow! The child looks unreal. This is a very profound photo worthy of much acclaim. It should be published. |

This is just creepy to me for some reason. Maybe it's the saturation with the light. |

Lots of noise, which I don't dislike, but needs more focus I think. There is so much here in the shot...it's busy. |
