 An alternate version of my entry. I was experimenting with ways to make the ice cream soda stand out more yet stay within the editing rules. The photo ended up so drab, and I ran out of time to keep trying.

I like the tones here, but you're right: it is drab. I still like the entry you went with -- too bad it didn't score higher.
