I understand the reflection, but this image doesn't seem powerful to me, beyond the actual magazine photos and text

I like the "reflection" on the past, idea & subject 10-but overall an 8

No more September 11 pictures , please! 5-Martin

I will accept your interpretation of the word reflection, as a process of analysis, "reflecting on things past", but IMHO, this theme (9/11) is already far too accessed by all mediums, and the composition is dull and unappealing. Technically, it looses focus on the right lower corner, due perhaps to an ilumination deficiency.

I see no reflection

Wrong kind of reflection for this challenge.

No reflective surface...trying to get sympathy votes...not that great a shot = low vote

Very good play on words -- wrt the title of the challenge. :)

I originally scored you pretty low because I didn't think you met the challenge, but I finally got it. No mirrors. No cameras visible.

Great imaination. I absolutely love it. If I could I would give you an 11, but the composition could use a little fine tuning. 10

I assume you are going for 'personal reflection' as a play on the challenge. This was brave and I'm betting you are paying for it. I think this would have worked better if it was a physical reflection of personal reflection... As an example, if you had put these pages in a frame and had a reflected, reflective face looking at it, I think it would have been much more powerful and you wouldn't be hearing "doesn't meet the challenge" as I'm betting you are.

Way to think outside the box :)

OK I must admit when I first saw this picture I wasn't sure what it meant and why you took it - I couldn't see the 'reflection' as such and rated you a 2. But on a closer observation, I see that the person (you perhaps) is reflecting your thoughts on that most tragic day. Please excuse my ignorance. Since seeing this photo again and observing it closer and working out why you took this I'm scoring this photo higher than originally thought. Good luck with this weeks challenge :) 8

nice change from the water and window pics. So many are so literal when it comes to the challenges.

One of the brave to attempt a "reflection" of a different sort! :) I can't say that I am a huge fan of the subject that you chose... I feel like it's a play on our emotions (sorry) :( Technically, I think the photo could have been executed in a more effective manner. It just doesn't capture me... Meets the challenege? 3 out of 5 - Technically, etc.? 2 of 5 - Total = 5 - JB

I'm so sorry, if I'm missing a reflection here....?? Sorry I don't see it. Score 6 Justine

An alternative definition of reflection, very creative, but risky for "popular" review. Good foto. 8 Swash

Nice depth of field--face and pix of ground zero both in focus.

I can understand the 'reflection' here... kudos for a non-literal translation of the challenge :) - setzler
