Just out and around this past week with the girls. This car is always parked in this exact spot. I had a picture without the white car, but it didn't work out quite right. (although, this probably hasn't either)

This is way cool Charlene. I am still trying to figure out how you got it all so perfectly reflected in the trunk of that car. The exhaust pipe, light and bumper really frame (I'm not sure that's the right word) the picture well.

Charlene - I absolutely loved this during voting and gave it an 8. I'm shocked that it didn't finish higher - but you know how it is... probably too arty, or something.

In any case I like it. It's so well seen and executed. I've always been fond of your B&W photos.

Edit to add:

You got an X-prize!!

Congratulations!

Very, very creative Charlene! What a find - you almost cannot even tell where the car begins and ends. How appropriate that the exhaust there - as an example of one source of pollution. A beautiful piece of art. Congrats on the X-Prize!

the shiny chrome here is so good; the distortion, griminess, implicit (streaks on the bumper) and explicit (exhaust pipe) pollution. the tones are rich and deep, that sky is lovely, and the image makes one think as well.

Had to look a few moments to see it was a chrome bumper. Good job.

what is the reflector here, it almost seems like the back of a car.... anyway, good reflection usage, B&W works well here too
