 A little vain maybe but my New Years Resolution has been about making myself healthier. Here it is middle of March and I have lost 26 pounds, and I am feeling really good about myself and after all that is exactly what Self magazine is all about. Feeling good about yourself.

Hmmm - do I feel like a sexist, reviewing my comment. I apologise for that. I agree with some of the other commenters - the lightning is a bit hard. Try to soften it up more, next time.

Congrads on the weight loss. I know how hard that is. Your picture had me wondering. It looks shy and brassy at the same time. Try lighting your background with it's own lights to brighten it up a bit. Good luck in your future challenges.

More space needed above the head. The porportions for a magazine cover are sligthly wrong, thus needing to to crop the photo across the bossom... Which, um, would be a shame.

Colour is good but the face seems a little out of focus

The lighting looks a little too harsh.

looks more like a personal add than a magazine cover....

The angle of light is too harsh. You need to tone down the light. Also, the model is too shiney (clothes and face), needs more blur. Background not popping enough... try yellow. Eyes also not in focus.

Looks like your lighting is MUCH better this time!!! Good job, no more green background. ;)
