Greetings from the Critique Club:
Good practice: When you request an in depth critique, you should include the exposure information and your own comments about the relativity and intent of the photo. Photos that do not include this information are optional for the critique club members.

I know how hard this is to do. Shooting against the sun is not the best idea on water. The hot spots are way distracting. Their effect can be a nice highlight at times but there is just too much of it here. |

Not a bad image. One way to work around water reflections is to use a polarizing filter. This will prevent or minimize blown out hightlights. 6 |

Slightly shadowy,
probably the metering being fooled by the reflections.
use of a polarizer required here to get rid of the reflections. |

reflections are 'blown out' and a tighter crop would have worked better |
