Wonderful image! The lighting is perfect, composition is inspiring. I never would have thought to put person in a shot like this, but it really pulls it all together and no doubt helped to make it stand out from the other landscapes. This is a fave for me!
(p.s. my family moved to Canada from Rocca San Giovanni in Chieti in the late 1930's, I would love to visit my relatives there sometime. Way farther south than where this was taken, but still on the Adriatic side) |

| one of my top picks in the challenge. the sky is dark and adds great contrast to the clouds; however the far right cloud just doesn't do it for me, so you'll have to settle for a 9 |

| nice submission, only problem I see is the footprints in the snow where you walked for setup, a different crop might have fixed that but then again it might have taken away from the shot |
