Hi,
A very nice effort, and nice image. There are a few things here that need to be addressed that you may find helpful.
The first thing that jumped out at me was the amount of noise in the image. I see you set your ISO at 50. I am not firmiliar with you camera but shooting this at ISO 200 may have worked better for you here. Most all of the cameras today vary in there noise levels the higher or lower you go with the ISO the more or less nosie.
Second there seems to be something on your lense (right side center of the image) there seems to be dust or something.
Thirdly with the cloud cover being so deep with the defused lighting waiting around a bit may have affored you the opportunity of some dramatic lighting. As it was you took your image directly into the sun causeing it to be a bit of a distraction and slightly hot. Next time this opportunity comes along try a higher ISO, wait for the sun to rise a bit more & stay awhile, dramatic lighting usually arise from these situations making for some stunning images.
