 I was shooting these birds at maximum zoom with an inexpensive 2x teleconverter; I really like the way the odd perspective makes the "guardrail" (actually, the Bay Bridge) appear to be in the "sky" above the buildings, and the way the extreme softness/fuzziness of the cheap lens adds a dreamy quality.

-Handheld; total focal length approximately 800mm (35mm equivalent)
-RGB Curve: 36in = 28out | 67in = 72out
-Blue Curve: 17in = 14out | 86in = 89out
-Resize
-USM at 16%/64 dia/TH = 0
-USM at 88%/1.3 dia/TH = 5 (applied twice)
-SaveAs JPEG at quality 8/10 = 112kb

Weird. I kind of like it for some reason, despite the obvious technical issues, which I suspect may be deliberate in this case. You'll get slammed, I'm sure, but I think I'll give you a 7 for making me look a couple of times :-)

I guess this is from a plane. (?) An interesting photo, however the bird poop on the window distracts form the overall pleasantness of the image.
