 I was driving around the Salton Sea taking photos of flooded out abandoned homes. The Sea floods quite frequenlty, leaving salty remains when it lowers.
Everything gets devistated.

Certainly harsh! For my tastes I would have pushed the levels slightly higher to get some true whites to appear - not many, but some of the salt edges around the sink for example.

odd title which gives me no clue as to what the harsh environment is here, good use of B&W and composition though

I love the Salton Sea. I made it to Mecca this weekend, but will be back at the sea before Summer.

Great contrast, nice composition. Great job!
