 I used a piece of orange glass and flashed trough it. I was able to take fifteen shots of my daughter Isa til she got bored. Difficult challence this one, nothing to see what's orange. It is winter over here, and everything looks grey. I'm expecting not much of it but I had fun thinking and working on the challence.

It's stunning as is - I love that it's orange, adds to the mood of the picture. What a great moment to have captured!

You have a very beautiful young model and you captured a good expression and it has good tonal range. But if I did not know what the challenge is and looked at this image I would ask myself why you made it orange. An image must always stand on its own merit independent of the challenge in which it is entered. For me this would be a lot better if it were not orange. A different or detailess solid colored background (black, white, blue?) would also help it.

Cute shot, it would have been great for the Portrait challenge. I really don't like the orange light though, you did a wonderful job of lighting your subject, but it doesn't complement her at all. The wall pattern is too busy, or is that noise?
Either way, it is distracting. Score: 4

She is cute. I'm guessing 5-6 years old. I love that age. You know your light and focus are good but I don't find this coloring all that appealing for a portrait.
