 This is a re-visit to the location of one of my previous challenge entries:


I'm hoping this version does better, it's certainly my favourite out of my collection! It also marks a return to landscapes for me, something I've not photographed for 6 months or so, and the genre of photography I'm probably strongest at and enjoy the most! Don't ask me why I decided to take a sabatical!

It's also my first attempt at HDR! I shot three auto-bracketed exposures (EV-2,0,+2), uploaded them into Lightroom and then combined the converted tiff's using Photomatix. Post-processing was carried out using CS2.

Being able to expose landscapes correctly without the need for filters is a real bonus and certainly kinder to my wallet! :-)

I can't believe I missed this one! I didnt get a chance to look through all the photos. This is wonderful, I love the dream like feel you give your work!

Wow! Really really nice. My one critique is that the clouds seem overly photoshopped. Still a spectacular photo, though. Montana?
