Yes I did climb twenty feet into a tree to stage this shot. And I do have to thank my brother in law Simon for building me the bird nest. I tried to build a real one, but it is a lot harder than it would seem.

The light is all nartural, but due to easter traveling, I could not wait for the golden hour, so it is a little bit harsh, but hopefully not enough to bother anyone.

Photoshop was as follows: Convert from RAW (adjusted exposure, recovery, temp, blacks and contrast), curves, selective color to bring out the pop of the bright eastery colors, resize, usm, save for web. Very simple edit, but anything else would not have done it justice.
