Congratz on a new personal best and breaking that 6 barrier! |

this is outrageously good and odd at the same time. |

I feel this was really underrated. I do think you would have done better had you cloned out the straps on the hawk's legs, but you could do that if you wanted to sell it as a print. This is a truly beautiful photo with an interesting perspective. Well done! |

I think I've worked out what it is that makes this shot so insane. It's the bird's right eye, wide open, staring wildly at us. Fantastic shot, perfectly composed. And congrats on the posthumous ribbon! |

An amazing capture - it does look a bit surreal, but then it also looks so very real. Very neat shot and a great opportunity! |

HUGELY under-rated in my opinion... should of been top 5 at the very least. |

Wow, this is amazing! Have you tried cropping this just above the flowers and taking out the tree on the left? This is unbelievable! |

amazing capture. I feel like I'm on some nutty nature show, about to get killed.
I just can't get over this shot. I have some red for you.

Great viewpoint for the landing of such an impressive creature. Was it coming to land on a post just behind you? |

Wow, great timing!
I would've been tempted to clone out the tethers in photoshop. |

Really nice. My only critique is the bird appears a little oversharp on the edges. That may just be the effect of the lighting. |

I would have cropped the slight distraction on the left and cropped the bottom of the photo up higher, try it - it worked for me, good shot though |

This is an AWESOME capture!! I see the jesses so I know it's a trained falcon but still, it's a terrific shot. |

bizarre capture, different look at the eagle, I like it. I would like to see deeper shadows in the plants |
