Your focus is soft where the eye is drawn, which in this case is the center of the main flower. This detracts from the image. You could have done one of two compositionally to make this better: 1. set you focus on the center of the flower 2. Recompose/crop so that the "in focus" petals are in the center of the shot. |

Your picture is lovely. I think it would have been even nicer if it had been in sharper focus. The composition is great. |

I understand that this is macro photography and has a limited depth of field, but there is no place that is clearly in focus, which may be a contrast issue. The image would probably benefit from unsharp mask in Photoshop. |
