Yeah I know about my hand lol. I had to use my remote to shoot this one and it only has a two second timer... I was kicking myself all week for hand in the pocket move but there really wasn't another option at the time.

Agreed. I think it adds to the relaxed and spontaeous feel of it. She's showing great emotion; he's playing it cool. Great choice of background too -- adds to the story.

I'm in the minority. That hand doesn't bother me at all. To me, it adds to the shot -- it's a casual, spur of the moment kiss. I really like the shot.

OK this is good.Her pose with the raised leg shows some emotion.But dude with his hand in his pocket? Just kills it for me.Maybe crop the dead sky space also. 6

The sky appears blown ΓΆ€“ still one of the best in this challenge! Like your idea of using an un-attractive railcar as a prop.

Love the framing, in fact, it looks as though you placed her just under the circle in the b.g. to make it look like a halo - 9

The composition of this photo is really well done. My only problem is with the guy's hand in his pocket. It looks unnatural to me.

I really like this. I like the female's leg and the position of her arms. I like the juxtaposition of the formal clothing against the rusty train. But I think an even tighter crop - getting rid of the angle of the top of the train car - would draw more focus on the intimate couple against the wonderful textures of the train car.

The big chunk of blown out sky at the top is distracting. Some fill flash would have been useful here to light up the shadows without blowing out the sky. I would have gotten closer to get just the couple and the train without the sky which adds nothing to the shot. Nice capture and pose otherwise. 8

I like the grittiness of the scenery against them in their nice clothes. I wonder if a different crop without the sky and his hand not in his pocket, maybe wrapped around her, could have made this even better.

His hand in his pocket lowers the intimacy of this to me. I like the rust and the "dressed-upness" contrast.

Train makes for a simple yet interesting background. Foot in the air shows some flirt. Daytime makes me wonder if they snuck away from work. His hand in his pocket makes him seem a little more distant and less intimate. Very nice shot.
