Title refers to the exchange between the birds and the fact that are in the process of shedding their drab olive feathers for the bright yellow of summer. The weather this time of year, too, now that I think about it. An all-purpose title. Had some nice shots of the one finch and then got lucky when the 2nd one came along to annoy him.
Maybe could do without the branch but it does add some context to the time of year and I don't mind it so much because of the way the tips frame the one bird's head. Not laser-sharp, either, but I'm happy with what's in focus and what's blurred. It tells the story nicely.

| The expressions of the birds is priceless. I see you nip a wing now and then also, but it doesn't detract from this combat. It really shows the action. |

| nice subject. DOF is a little narrow for my taste. Seems to be a little light on the warm (red, orange, yellow) colors. |
