 This is Egg Harbor on Lake Michigan in Door County Wisconsin. The blue sky reflecting off ice and water was a nice site the morning after this challenge was announced. Finally a card played into my hand. Now hopefully it will score well.

Thanks for the votes and the great comments. I think this would have done better had there been more subject matter in the photo. However I wanted the photo to depict what you see while standing there on the shore. I reckon alot of people looked once, voted and moved on, This picture takes a few minutes to absorb.

thats crazy! i have never seen ice like that before. The white border at the top of the ice helps emphasize how far it stretches. Amazing shot

Very simple. I find it interesting that without a main subject in this piece, I still find myself looking more and more into this shot. The blues are very calming and the texture and shades of the ice add so much to this piece. I think this would look terrific blown up to a large size. Great shot!
