 Rainy view thru window. Noticed the lights against the rainy streets. Interesting play of textures and colors. Adj. channel mix, set levels, noise ninja, crop and re size.

Wow! After 61 (sixty one) entries I am very pleased to receive an award here! Thanks! Actually the photo was a 'grab' shot taken while being paid to photograph a high school prom. I looked out the window to check on the weather and noticed this scene. I spent about 15 seconds taking maybe 3 versions of this scene. Some people thought it was quite amatuerish, but well executed none-the-less. Sometimes the simple photos reveal the sublime! Not much I would have done differently had I taken more time: perhaps not shot this at 1600 ISO, perhaps I would have used a tripod, or maybe even created it as a raw image...
Thanks again, I await the results of every entry I submit, and I will never give up!
