Michelle, this is great! It's funny how sometimes flowers can turn out better in B&W than in colour. I imagine this to be one of those.

I like the texture of the flower. It almost looks like silk. The DOF you've used here seems perfect. The water droplets add a nice touch as well. |

What was the lighting? Looks like natural window light, perhaps. Whatever it is, it's perfect for this. I very much love that the flower is not perfect. And it's quite lovely in B&W. |

wonderful detail and the dark background really helps it to jump out. It might be more effective with a deeper dof. |
