I suppose you see them so often, that it's just another aurora...
I would love to see one live. Marvellous.

So beautiful. I can't imagine seeing such splendor in the sky on a regular basis. Such a wonder and I will never tire of seeing the northern lights "yet another" time. Very pretty. The teeny houses and church provide great interest too so it's 9 from me.

Might be harsh of me to say - but because you have/had natures best display at your disposal i find it difficult to judge these photos, and thus looking at the points of interest, the aruroa is fine, if a little grainy, the landscape is fine, if a little dark, and the light from the houses is blown and it seems as if you tried to rescue that and the attempt bled into the sky... So i feel let down really... HDR is in the rules these days for a reason. And even if you dont have true hdr capabilities, i'm fairly sure you will have the ability to mask layers... Compositionally this is a nice shot tho :)

Nice image. The house's seem to be distorted & the second house a bit hot.

I think a portrait crop might have worked better too much dark space on the left 6
