 With this photo I was aiming at creating an image that portrays an acoustic solo artist deriving from the metal scene. I saw the vines growing on the wall behind him, and thought it would create an interesting opportunity to capture a moody portrait. Lit this with an off camera 580 EX and a home made snoot to build the contrast.
