...that´s was the time when I submitted this shot, cause I completely forgot about the free study this month and had to scramble to find something to enter. Granted, that was 5 minutes to midnight here in Iceland, wich meant I had 4 hours and 5 minutes to find something but I was getting sleepy so I didn´t search very hard...
Well "fortunately", I March was an unusually slow month for me, I only did 3 photoshoots for myself and only got out once to shoot nightscapes so I had little to choose from, especially since two of those photoshoots involved "green screen" photos, wich I obviously can´t use for DPC.
This is hardly the best borealis photo I have taken but I still like it, it´s also the first with my new camera and boy does it make a difference with this type of photography! Also I finally managed to drag my buddy Neil (see week 43 of my PAW last year) out to take nightscapes, something wich I have been trying to do for several months now :) |

Curious to know if the magnetosphere holds at the poles. The solar flares shouldn't penetrate it or does it? Great shot, not one of your best, but the clouds make this stand out. |

A really nice capture. The stars just seem to come off more like dead pixals rather then stars. |
