| The lily 'subjects' look yellow when surrounded by so much overpowering orange color. A contrasting black or blue background might have been beter. |

| I presume you have c hosen your viewpoint and taken the picture from well above the flowers. The trouble is that it makes them look a bit top-heavy, but I can see that the flowers, not the vase are the subject so I suppose it is legit. |

| Beautiful. One of the few photos in this challenge that has a background color that highlights and adds value to the composition. If it were a little more contrasty and didn't have the (very) minor DOF issue, I'd give it a 9/10, as it stands it's an 8. Lovely work. |

| Great orange color. I would have liked the focus on the front flower a little sharper. I think this border also detracts from your nice photo. I like the composition and the lighting here. |

| good DOF, reasonable modelling of the shadows on the background, although I find the left side a bit too dark. I especially like how the green stems pop. I could really do without the yellow border. |
