| Good straightforward response to the challenge. I think the background (the table) may have hurt the score a bit as the pattern in it competes with the main subject a little. |

| I think that the table is my biggest problem with this shot. I don't like the grain on the table competing with the grain on the hands. |

| Superb rendition of a natural process we can't avoid. The wood's grain is so fitting to this idea I'm surprised I don't see this done more often. Wonderful image. |
