 I have always wondered what this big red lump was doing on top of this stupid cactus thing. I took the photo moving so it looks quite "raksen tro" if you allow me to splash ;) (icelandic joke)

The background is very cluttered and distracting. The lighting is quite 'hot', especially around the back of the pot.

I think your subject is too brightly lit, and there is too much background clutter.

I'm sorry, I don't really understand how this meets the challenge. A potted cactus does not seem odd and out of place. This photo would be better with a background that puts it more out of context.

Blurry! With a stationary subject like this, you don't have to worry about taking your time to get as many shots as you need until one has the perfect focus.
