lovely capture- the clouds are very nicely captured; and the colors are nice - I like the blend from the sky to the water and how it is broken with that wonderful shade of green- the reflections on the water are very pretty-- initially the curve of the land/shadows at the bottom distracted me a bit from all of this? then as i looked at it I thought a nice matt-and frame might help keep my eyes from drifting... its a very lovely image :) - i DID notice you have a 2nd shot of this same image *only because it was in my left side-bar* and I do have to say that I think like that crop better? (shows more of the sky upwards- and the shadows at the bottom for me keep my eyes dancing beteween the light and dark and more focused on the center...

You really nailed the use of the polarizer. Be careful though, it seems that the effect is only on half the sky, the right side of the photo. From what I've been told, for the effect to be 100% spread across your photo, you will have to take the photo at a 90 degree angle away from the sun. |
