Beautiful capture! You are right about the eyes. There's a sense of loss about them. She is a beautiful child at this age and no doubt will grow up to be a knockout - that should bring back the twinkle in her eye! |

Well captured. Poor little thing. What a big adjustment. I was around the same age when my siblings were born (brother and sister). I famously announced that I only needed one! |

Look at those eyes and eyelashes. I've never seen many "glamorous" photos of two-year olds, but this fits that description. Take out the pacifier and you have a very young Marilyn Monroe posing for her closeup. |

she looks so bleary-eyed and sleepy, but in a very photogenic sort of way :) |

Very nice. The eyes really pop against the softness of the rest of the image. |

Sweet Portrait! I know those eyes! Still fresh on my mind from our little Joy who turns five in September this year. :) |

great work capturing such a strong emotion in a young child. the feeling really comes across without having to read the details. |

A delicate sweetness to this - I love the way the curls fall into her eye on the one side. She does look a bit sad, maybe a touch confused. But she's a beautiful girl! Very nice light - nothing blown or glaring, and a very deep richness to the eyes. |

Fantastic portrait. The expression in her eyes is great. I thought she was subdued by the pacifier, but after reading your commentary have gotten the real story. I really like the shallow DOF and tight crop. Bravo!

Beautifully expressive eyes, wise beyond their years. I live the little golden curls as well, they provide a soft frame for her face. |

I really like this and I like the high key aspect... I am guessing natural light.
Excellent portrait. |

Ohmygosh! Claire is BEAUTIFUL! Look at those eyelashes! And yes. . .her eyes make me sad. You can feel her little soul in them. She WILL grow out of it, and one day her sisters will be her best friends and what makes family life the joy of her life. But it IS hard when a new one comes along -- but TWO!!! Sheeeeeesh. Your poor, amazingly BLESSED sister! She must be an exhausted zombie!
But what a BLESSING! Twin pictures please?????? |
