great job! that was a very good idea for this contest.

I little too noisy for my tastes, but I like the design.

Nice Compoosition.

Very nice. I tried to do this once, I understand how difficult is this. I don't mind the grain here, but that will be the only reason other voters may score this low. One of few 10 from me in this challenge. Good luck.

The noise here is a little more distracting than helpful it seems. lovely composition though and great job getting all the hands in harmony

The grain in this shot is distracting. It looks like a friendly bunch, and the white background makes me think that they are all naked which makes me think they are a really friendly bunch...and a touchy bunch. So in the end I am thinking of a late night HBO special, and I am sure that this was not your intent for the photograph.

I'm picking up a lot of pixelation as if it was sharpened too much. I'm still working on that issue myself though.

Nice image - Like the composition but find the grain effect too much.

I usually don't comment on artifacts, but wow do you have them here. Might want to check out a toutorial on resizing & saving for web. I love this idea - wish it was cleaner.

good concept a little grainy

8 for the wonderful composition, but for some reason the picture is grainy, if it is itended to be this way then it is perfect.

Well done! I tried to do this with my subjects, but they just stared at me in disbelief.

beautiful composition, the rings do two things for me, they identify the females in the image, and do slightly distract me from the overall shapes because suddenly i find myself looking hand to hand to see if every other one is wearing rings or not...? I scored this one at an 8 - (would have done a 9 if there was a border? i think framing this image in would help with my eyes not drifting out of the frame when i'm gazing over it... its very -beautiful- and I really like it a lot - very difficult to get a lot of people to hold hands and stay still under direcdtion, and I respect that you were able to do that- I hope this image does well :)

seems noisy or oversharpened but nice idea.

This is a cool idea. You have a lot of jagged edges though. Nothing really to do with the quality of the photograph more to do with how you prepared it for the challenge, I think.

brilliant idea. good focus. It appears as if there is a high level of noise in your picture taking away some details of the skin
04/07/2008 08:19:54 AM
I would have preferred a sharper image.
Great concept.
04/07/2008 04:36:05 AM
extremely noisy/pixelated; lighting is flat. a square crop had added impact IMO
04/07/2008 02:46:53 AM
Really good idea and layout. I so wish it was clean and noise free. Also looking at it a bit longer I wish that all of the right hands were on top all the way around, that they were all gripping the same way to make the circle flow uniformly. the 2,4 and 6 oclock hands throw off the rhythm some (though arranging bodies I am sure wasnt the easiest).

Great idea and well shot, but I find the grain (added in postprocessing?) really distracting.

conceptually very good, just need better lighting and less noise in the shot.
