 Yes it is one of my many marble shots that I have been doing for the April side challenge. I especially liked this one because I didn't use a tripod. I held the marble up in the air with one hand while holding the camera in the other hand. I moved the marble back and forth until I felt it was in focus. I took a chance on the exposure being somewhat correct. I only took one shot and this is it. Every marble shot is different. When I look in this one I feel there is another little world I am holding in my finger tips. I keep looking into the little world waiting from someone or something to come walking into view. I know by the end of the month people will be sick of my marble shots but oh well, I find them to be an interesting subject at the moment and it is challenging to try to come up with something new to do with them. My steps are as follows:

MARBELLOUS .. !!!!!! .. love the detail in the marble and the oof background ... excellent the nearly translucent look of that finger, or is it the thumb ??!!.. great shot .. :):)

The Marble Master is at it again with her trusty macro lens and a bag of marbles. The detail and is superb and I love the blues and greens. Looks so lush and cool! It just draws you in to linger a while in this little marble world!

Neat shot - good d.o.f. The light under your thumb is a little too bright for my taste, but otherwise i like it.
