 This is a red gerber supported by "blu-tac" on two red plates. The shot is taken with natural light by a large window. The plate are on the floor and I am hovering over it for the shot. I placed a white card reflector at about 5 o'clock. Didn't do much developing. The plates and the flower really were that red.

I suppose there's nothing wrong with copying another idea to see if you can do better. You may loose marks for lack of originality, though. As it stands this is an excellent shot, well exposed, sharp, nice simple colours and fits the challenge well.

beautiful colors and composition. Getting a little overplayed with these plates in alot of photos now, but you pull it off nicely for this comppetition.

That is some RED! This coulda done well in the warm colors challenge also.

where have I seen a similar picture before? well composed, good focus; reds are way oversaturated, whites could be a tad brighter.
