thanks for all of the great comments! This was shot in a windowed patio at a restaurant--the lighting was really nice. I learned a lot about diffused lighting shooting in that environment. Look for this baby in a lot of my shots!

Greetings from the Critique Club -

Glad this one came up in the queue for me. I really enjoyed this shot. Great clean detail, nice DOF, fun moment captured, b&w conversion is spot on. I expected this to score over 6 (you were close). Maybe the main issue for voters was that it was more of a candid than an image of a specific body part. Personally I think you met the challenge, but other voters can be stinkers. For me, I find it a great image. A keeper for sure.

this was a great shot in the challenge- i raed it on the higher-end of the 1-10 scale -the lighting is just great, and its a wonderful 'candid' (I adore it because it reminds me of something my daughter does with my father, grabbing his nose, and or pointing at his eyes) spectacular image, great job!

Playful. Almost a candid, but for me it actually crosses into a portrait.

I hate it when that happens. I miss in my nose for about two years now. Good captured the depth of field over all very well done.
