 This shot was taken in the Sarah Duke Gardens on the campus of Duke University. Had to walk around quite a bit to get the background I wanted. Cloudy day was a must to get the 2.8 to fade the background away. PP was very simple. All done in Canon software except for saving for web which was done in PS. In Canon RAW, drop contrast, raise color saturation, and sharpen. In PS save for web.

Well, I love the shot so no telling where it will end up. :)

This could use just a bit more exposure and maybe a slightly tighter crop with a little less room up top.

Nice choice for the challenge - good detail and good supporting bokeh. Could use just a wee bit of a tweak in levels or brightness.

Nicely centred. It's a little dark which is a problem when shooting very light subjects.

a square crop would be better for bringing out this nice flower, IMO
