I think you may have stumbled upon a crime scene. The shoe is scuffed badly, as if a woman had been drug across the pavement. How sad.

i was going in another direction in my thoughts when i saw this .. not a pleasant place .. you know .. a fight .. losing the shoe .. and the fact that she never went back to get it .. well .. i hope she was ok .. :)

Makes you wonder what happened...is there a shoeless woman about? A one-footed, heel-wearing transvestite or drag queen, perhaps? She/He had a drink and a smoke before traipsing off without footwear. :)
