I found a dozen of these funky"Magic" baby dolls in Rite Aid and tossed them on an IKEA cutting board in front of a window. I used a sheet of laser paper for the background and some aluminum foil for fill. A nice, slow shutter for a high f/stop. After a few hundred captures, I found this one with the "coy" baby doll in the back right. It felt a little like an old Twilight Zone.

Photoshop - Tons of layers of cloning and healing fixes to remove all the stray hair, a couple of curves changes, a tweak of unsharp mask.

I took a beating for thinking way outside of the box here, but thanks to those of you who thought this did meet the challenge. They are human baby dolls after all...

not really in the spirit of the challenge, funny and technically good picture though

It is every Ken Dolls dream. That is kind of creepy.

Terrifying dolls! I think you've managed to capture a surprising amount of emotion in a static, literally 'plastic' subject - they look like they're up to something...

Aww you forgot to include the body parts. ;\

Can't find any human body parts. Unless I'm just missing a person hidden among the dolls, DNMC.

Congratulations! Your photo was 1 of only 3 DNMC's I gave for this challenge

Your collection of blow-up dolls is frightening. I think the voters are looking for real people body parts, and i wouldn't expect this to do well.

creepy. I'm assuming you will get a lot of DNMCs since you are not focusing on a body part. Other than that I think it was a success in that it caught my attention and is creepy but I think more dramatic lighting would have helped a lot.
